BeeFreeMeTV - Camera Tricks
Updated: Jul 26, 2019
We're all about making you an awesome Influencer and YouTuber! But, you don't have to burst your parents budget to do it. Joining BeeFreeMeTV as a Creator is free and we let you post to our channel too while giving you great tools and tricks to do so!
THIS FIRST POST IS ABOUT CAMERA TRICKS.
We've selected this video by COOPH because it's simple and he gets right to the point. Check it out and if you have questions, ask below.
Now, if you're a beginner and most of you are, don't worry about these yet. Just follow these simple steps:
Make your videos HORIZONTAL not vertical. 16:9 works for YouTube.
Go outside in the light if you don't have good lighting inside.
Find a quiet place and place your camera on a tripod or a surface that has you centered in the frame -- not too high and not too low.
Talk louder than normal and clearly. You can talk fast (most YouTubers do) but let us hear you. Audio is the reason most YouTube videos aren't watched in it's entirety. Remember, you can always turn your audio down while editing but never up!
Think about your video before cutting the camera on to make sure you have everything you need.
Don't try to make it LONG just because. See Cooph's video above. It was only 3:43 minutes but it gets the job done.
Have fun. Remember why you watch videos on YouTube -- the Influencers are relate-able, friendly and authentic.
This video of Marsaille and Lilly Mae was shot using an iphone and a steady camera. The iphone was used to get the CLOSE UP shots and the Camera was for the steady 2-shots. It made for an easy edit and get visuals.
